About ChargeVyne

We started in Munich because European depots deserved better software

In 2024, Lukas Stein spent three months helping a pan-European logistics operator instrument their charging depots across Germany and the Netherlands. The trucks had OCPP-capable chargers. The grid connection data was available. EPEX SPOT tariff feeds were free. Yet every depot was running flat-rate overnight charging — paying peak-hour prices for energy drawn at 02:00, tripping transformer protection relays during shift change, and still occasionally missing departure SoC targets. The software to connect those three data sources didn't exist. ChargeVyne was founded in Munich in 2025 to build it.

Lukas Stein

CEO & Co-Founder

Previously led energy systems engineering at a German industrial automation firm. Spent 2023–2024 instrumenting charging depots across Germany and the Netherlands for a pan-European logistics pilot — that fieldwork exposed the gap ChargeVyne was built to close. Founded ChargeVyne in Munich in early 2025.

Our mission

Make fleet electrification economically inevitable

The transition to electric fleets is not a question of if — it's a question of when it becomes unavoidable. The biggest obstacle isn't range anxiety or upfront vehicle cost anymore. It's operating cost uncertainty: fleet managers don't know whether their electricity bills will be manageable as they scale from 10 EVs to 100.

ChargeVyne removes that uncertainty. When a fleet operator knows their energy cost per kilometre will be controlled and predictable — and that every vehicle will start its shift charged — the business case for full electrification becomes unambiguous.

ChargeVyne is a software company. We do not sell chargers, install grid connections, or advise on vehicle procurement. Our value is the intelligence layer that makes the hardware you already own perform as if it were purpose-built for grid-aware operation.
